A space for radical democracy

Katalin Gennburg, member of the German Bundestag representing the Socialist party The Left (Die Linke): In terms of housing, the first step is easily achievable: cutting rents and reregulating the housing market so as to push speculation out of our cities. The conversation about urban development has to be linked to the question of democracy. The best way to achieve that is by means of establishing public supervision over land ownership.
